Nice to meet you,
I'm Omer Dotan

My personal story is about worlds meeting. Places, people, experiences. I move through life following what interests me: the world of hi-tech and AI, the world of construction and BIM, and also the world of gaming and guiding trips abroad. It was actually from gaming that the old-new technology of virtual reality (VR) burst into my life, and made me fall in love again with this long-standing medium, which lets worlds that do not (or do not yet) exist in reality come to life. I set out on my own journey to spread this technology in the fields closest to my heart.

My vision is for VR technology to serve the whole construction field in Israel, just as it serves fields like aviation and medicine with great success. Construction too can use the advanced ability to create a virtual world before actually building - to understand the space and find questions that were never asked before ("things you see from here, you can't see from there...", as the song goes).

I believe that the unique mix of rich technology experience, hands-on architectural knowledge and excellent people skills lets me lead VR in architecture in Israel and bring real added value to the field.
